The Napanee Raiders have won game one of their Eastern Conference Final against the Clarington Eagles. This is the third time in four years the two teams have met in the finals.
Friday night at home, the Napanee Raiders were up 1-0 at the end of the first thanks to a goal by Alex Case. The second period saw goals by Michael Patrick and Ethan Boutilier to lead the Raiders to a 3-0 lead. Clarington scored once late in the third period to avoid the shutout for a 3-1 Raiders win!
The Raiders are 12-4 so far in the playoffs and are leading the Eastern Conference Final against Clarington 1-0. The Clarington Eagles are now 12-1 in the playoffs, this being their first loss of the playoffs.
