The Lennox and Addington Chamber of Commerce is hosting an All-Candidates Forum on Tuesday, April 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Selby Hall. Residents of the Hastings, Lennox & Addington, and Tyendinaga riding are invited to submit questions to be asked of the candidates.
Questions must be submitted by April 11 to businessmanager@l-achamber.ca and will be vetted before being presented during the event. Topics can include healthcare, tariffs, climate change, economic recovery, and more.
The event, being moderated by myFM’s Emily Chatwood, will feature opening statements from each candidate and a question period where candidates will answer up to six pre-submitted questions. Candidates will have two minutes to respond to each question, and the order of responses will rotate.
The forum will be live-streamed on the Chamber’s Facebook page and shared on 88.7 myFM’s Facebook page. A meet-and-greet will run from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
