The 11th annual fundraiser in support Northumberland Hills Hospital was a sell-out again this year. Attendees had the chance to mix and mingle under the Lions Club of Cobourg’s tent in Victoria Park on June 27.
Once again this year, signature sponsor Tony Pulla RE/MAX Lakeshore Realty Inc. played a significant role in supporting the hospital.
Foundation CEO Rhonda Cunningham tells us why Wine & Ale in the Park is so important to fundraising efforts.
Attendees enjoyed pairing stations tastefully put together to feature delicious local cuisines and a variety of wines and ales from an exciting lineup of Northumberland area vendors.
Food vendors included The Mill Restaurant & Pub, Prep Food Co., Craft Food House, Toller Pizza, Everyday Chef’s Best – John O’Leary, Taste Buds Grazing Co. and drink vendors Northumberland Hills Brewery, Cold Springs Brewery, Ganaraska Brewing Company and Brock Street Brewery.
Cunningham tells us she was thrilled with the support from local business.
According to Cunningham, proceeds from events like Wine & Ale in the Park help make it a facility the community can depend on.
Cunningham says they’re hoping to surpass last years total of over $34,000 this year.
