While the bylaw was approved, it won’t go into effect until March 28th in order to give county and town staff the chance to come to a better arrangement.
CAO Tracey Vaughan explained.
According to Vaughan, council hopes to avoid instituting the bylaw.
Vaughan told us it’s in everyone’s best interest to come to an agreement.
That success will mean putting measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety – both those at Transition House and those in the surrounding neighbourhood.
