What a year for Owen Beck.
The Port Hope-native won gold at the World Juniors playing for Team Canada, made his NHL debut with Montréal in January and now is suiting up in the OHL Championship Series as a key member of the Peterborough Petes.
Head Coach Rob Wilson says the mid-season acquisition of Beck has really made a difference.
Beck, who once played for the Quinte Red Devils program, has 13 points in the playoffs.
Game 1 of the series between the Petes and London Knights is on Thursday. You can listen to all of the action on FREQ 90.5, Oldies 96.7 and Classic Rock 107.9.
