The Cameco Step Up for Mental Health Fun Run/Walk understands the importance of, and need for, mental health resources in Northumberland.
Funding for mental health services is essential to helping improve access and support for those who need it. It’s about making a difference for a cause that touches us all.
Cameco VP of Fuel Services Dale Clark told us the pandemic required a pause for the run, but this Saturday, May 13th, they’re back.
The Step Up for Mental Health Fun/Run Walk, will take place in Cobourg at Victoria Park beginning at 8:30 am.
This event is open to everyone, from serious runners to casual joggers and walkers who are looking to raise money for a good cause while having a good time.
It’s not too late to register according Clark.
Did you know that 49% of Canadians feel they’ve suffered from anxiety or depression but have never sought help?
Dale told us it’s time to Step Up for Mental Health and get the conversation started.
Cameco has partnered with organizations like Northumberland Hills Hospital, Northumberland YMCA, local schools, Community Care Northumberland, Transition House, Rebound Child and Youth Services Northumberland and many more have benefitted from funding provided by Cameco through the Step Up program.
