The Province is investing $60,000 in Hospice Norwood
New funding provided by the Ontario Government will make a big difference at Hospice Norwood.
It will be used to renovate an accessible bathroom as well as increase accessibility in the meeting space.
In addition, a new Rural Outreach Coordinator, Carolyn Parkes, has been hired to oversee and coordinate community hospice programs.
MPP David Piccini says that this funding will enable staff and volunteers to leverage Peterborough and deliver better care to the community.
Hospice Norwood will hold a public information meeting at the Norwood Legion on January 31 at 7:00pm, to update the community on progress made in the past year and introduce the new Rural Outreach Coordinator.
