I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! The Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce has organized a giveaway, eat ice cream and enter to win a branded Northumberland County “Keeping It Cool” cooler bag.
The “Keeping It Cool” cooler bags are part of a joint venture by the four county Chambers of Commerce: Brighton-Cramahe, Trent Hills, Port Hope & District, and Northumberland Central to showcase the breadth of goods and services available across Northumberland County.
“With the cooler bags we were given, we choose to highlight the business that sell ice-cream in our area,” said Laura McAuley – Office Coordinator of the Brighton – Cramahe Chamber of Commerce. “There are business doing traditional favourites, while others are doing ice cream based desserts and unique flavor infusions, and even offering vegan options too.”
The Brighton-Cramahe Chamber’s cooler giveaway will run until the end of summer – or while supplies last. Visit any one of the participating locations and collect 5 signatures and then return your ballot to the Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce’s office on 78 Main Street in Brighton.
“You can visit one business five times or you can travel around the municipalities to try different locations. It’s completely up to you,” added McAuley.
Participating locations include:
– Big Apple in Colborne
– Oh Dahlyla in Brighton
– Tin Roof Creamery in Brighton
– Castleton General Store in Castleton
– Cheer Farms in Brighton
– Auto Traders in Colborne
– Polliwogs in Brighton
Completed ballots can be turned in the Chambers office on Main Street in Brighton or at the Presqu’ile Visitors booth at the gates of Presqu’ile when their summer student is on site.
What better way to keep cool and celebrate the summer than eating ice cream, and the bonus is getting a chance to win a new cooler bag.
