Northumberland Hills Hospital has announced the two winners of this year’s Health Professions Scholarships
The awards have been happening since 2013 and this year’s awards were presented by the hospital’s board chair, at the latest board of director’s meeting. This year’s winners include:
Lillie Donovan, Port Hope (attending St. Mary Catholic Secondary School and will attend the University of Ottawa in fall, to study in the Honours Bachelor of Science – Human Kinetics program.
Tovan Lew, Cobourg (attending Cobourg Collegiate Institute, with additional requirements completed this summer for International Baccalaureate certificates in mathematics, biology, chemistry, French and English. Lew received early acceptance to Trent, Ontario Tech University and Ryerson and was waiting for responses from several other schools, with an expected field of undergraduate study in biomedical and life sciences.)
