It was recently announced that Cameco would distribute $43,000 between six different community groups and organizations.
It’s grant money through the Cameco Fund for Mental Health, and one of the recipients is Port Hope High School.
$5,000 will be used to purchase a class set of cross-country skis and snowshoes, large outdoor activity balls and other equipment to promote mental health through physical exercise.
