Another drug bust has resulted in two Cobourg residents facing charges.
On Wednesday (Sept 4), members of the Northumberland and Peterborough OPP Community Street Crime Unit along with members of the Cobourg Police service, executed a controlled drug and substances act warrant at a home in Cobourg.
Police say 57 grams of cocaine with a street value of $5,700 and an undisclosed amount of Canadian cash were seized along with other drug trafficking related items.
As a result, 57-year-old Pauline O’Brien and 38-year-old Daniale O’Brian, both of Cobourg, have been charged with possession of cocaine.
Pauline has also been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
They were both released from custody and are set to appear in Cobourg court on October 9.
