Spring recreation registration is here in Port Hope, offering a variety of aquatics, fitness, and cultural programs for all ages.
Spring Aquatics registration opens April 7 at 7 a.m., while sign-ups for other Recreation Programs begin April 8 at 8 a.m. Programs run from April 21 to June 22 for a nine-week session, while Spring Fitness runs until June 29, lasting 10 weeks.
Residents can register online for a fast and convenient experience, in person for a staggered process, or by phone-though voicemails will not guarantee a spot. Since registration days are often busy, participants are encouraged to prepare in advance by ensuring their accounts and 55+ memberships are up to date. A swim assessment is required before registration to confirm children’s placement in the correct level.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants may only register those in their own household. If a class is full, residents can join a waitlist, which helps determine demand for additional sessions.
Those with questions about classes, instructors, or levels should ask before registration day to ensure a smooth process. Refunds come with fees, and online service fees are non-refundable, so registrants should only sign up for the classes they intend to take.
