Five Counties Children’s Centre is inviting young artists to help celebrate its 50th anniversary by designing thank you cards.
The Centre has launched a Thank You Card Contest to mark its golden anniversary, encouraging children of all ages to create designs on special 50th-anniversary colouring sheets. Each piece of submitted artwork will be used by staff on thank you cards sent to donors, volunteers and supporters throughout the year.
Five Counties Community Engagement Coordinator Maddie Jackson tells us more.
Audio PlayerOne winning design will also be featured on the Centre’s new corporate thank you cards, created specially for 2025.
“Five Counties has much to be grateful for over its 50-year history, so who better to say thanks than the kids who benefit from our services,” says Jackson. “At the core of what Five Counties does is serving and supporting kids of all ages and abilities, so showcasing their artwork on 50th-anniversary thank you cards will add extra meaning when we send appreciation to our supporters.”
According to Jackson, the contest is a fun way to make a meaningful connection to Five Counties work.
Audio PlayerThe contest runs until April 30, with prizes that include Five Counties’ 50th-anniversary T-shirts. Entry forms, contest rules and colouring sheets are available at www.fivecounties.on.ca/thankyou50/.
Jackson tells us how it works.
