Presqu’ile’s Waterfowl Weekend has been a tradition since 1977, showcasing the stunning migration of waterfowl that gather in Presqu’ile Bay each spring.
As the ice recedes, up to 20,000 birds from 25 species can be seen diving for food along the ice edge.
Volunteers will be stationed at key points to help visitors spot and identify ducks, geese, and swans.
Friends of Presqu’ile spokesperson Bev Cook tells us viewing conditions are great.
