AMO remains positive, prepared in face of trade war

Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) President Robin Jones is clear in why she believes AMO is well prepared for the current Canada-U.S. trade war.

Jones, who is also mayor of Westport, says AMO has a toolbox filled with policies and tips to help municipalities weather whatever the U.S. government throws at us.

Jones also notes that AMO’s messaging to both Queen’s Park and Parliament Hill is clear.

She also explains that Canada’s Prime Minister in-waiting Mark Carney shares a guiding principle with AMO that everyone should remember.
