The Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation has announced the return of Galalicious on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024.
Residents are invited to dine at one of 14 local restaurants to raise funds for the hospital.
Chair Bridget Smith tells us where Galalicious came from.
Smith says that during the pandemic some creative thinking was required and Galalicious was the result.
“We are so pleased to partner with local restaurants once again and bring Galalicious back to Northumberland County,” said Bridget Smith, chair of Galalicious 2024. This year, new participants include Milly’s Port Hope, Prep Food Co., Dalewood Golf Club and D’s Modern Caribbean, adding more variety to the event.
According to Smith, when they first approached restaurants in Northumberland they were a bit surprized by the overwhelmingly positive response.
Smith tells us how it works.
This year, all proceeds will support vital signs monitors at Northumberland Hills Hospital
