Flags across the Town of Cobourg will fly at half-mast Sunday, September 29, 2024 to mark the National Memorial Day for Police and Peace Officers.
The day is an opportunity to formally express appreciation for the dedication of police and peace officers who lost their lives in the line of duty and to offer condolences to the surviving families of those who gave their lives in the service of their communities.
Flags across Cobourg properties will continue to fly at half-mast until Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
