Next week’s solar eclipse is going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity for humans, but what about our four-legged friends?

All Creatures Great and Small’s Teresa Rickerby gave us some advice for your pets.

Animals are really good about picking up their owners excitement or anxiety so having a space that is quiet and comfortable for them is the best advice to keep them happy on April 8.

Rickerby provided this reassurance.

According to Rickerby, most pets should handle the eclipse without any problems.

Teresa advised if you have any outdoor cats, it’s probably a good idea to bring them in for the day, just to be safe.
