Trudy Stacey said she’s thrilled to follow in the footsteps of Dave Sommerville.
She told us it’s always been her dream to run the store and when she told her husband and business partner Brian, he was immediately on board.
Stacey now has several weeks under her belt as the owner of the former Sommerville Sports store, but she says she’ll actively work to keep the store’s sports legacy alive.
Trudy and her husband Brian may have taken over the business and even changed the name, but one thing hasn’t changed, and that’s the deep connection to local sports.
Trudy told us it’s really great to carry on with the legacy left by Dave and his father and she can’t wait to see future stars come through her door.
Located at 84 King Street West in downtown Cobourg, Trudy’s Source for Sports is open Monday to Saturday for all your sporting needs.
