A two vehicle collision has Highway 2 between Port Hope and Cobourg closed to traffic.
Traffic is being diverted via Theatre Road in Cobourg to Telephone road.
An earlier report stated a school bus was involved which is not the case. One vehicle appears to have rolled over into the ditch causing considerable damage to it and minor injuries to the driver. Hamilton Fire and Northumberland OPP are currently on-site clearing the accident.
It’s expected the road will be closed for the next hour while clean up operations are completed.
