Chicken lovers rejoice– You’ll no longer have to linger into Peterborough or Oshawa to get the Mary Brown’s meal you’re yearning for.
The grand opening of Mary Brown’s in the Northumberland Mall Plaza went off without a hitch, and attendees left with a chicken sandwich in hand.
Regional Training Director Nash Moledina, who was on-site during the July 18 opening, says the franchise is excited to join Cobourg.
25 staff members have been hired for the opening of Northumberland’s first Mary Brown’s location. Joining Moledina and new trainees was Vice President of Operations Lou Russo, who says the Canadian-staple chain’s growth is headed international for the first time.
Mary Brown’s just celebrated their 200th store opening on Canadian soil in 2021, now two years later, the company is expanding deeper into rural communities and hopping across sea internationally.
Russo says its all a testament to the brand identity.
Luckily Cobourgians won’t have to pack their bags to get a Big Mary– The location at 1052 Elgin St. W is ready with fryers on for visit.
