We’d like to introduce you to Ellen Kerr, a Rockstar Employee with Play it Again Sports in Cobourg.
Ellen has been working at Play it Again Sports in Cobourg for almost 2 years now, and she said she really enjoys coming in to work every day.
She was nominated by her boss Lee Allen, who said she is like his right hand woman. Always willing to help out and handle any task that’s thrown her way, Lee said Ellen is ready and willing to jump in and take on any situation.
“I was shocked,” Ellen said when asked what it was like to be nominated by Lee. “I felt very appreciative and I was really blown away.”
There are many different reasons someone might come in to a sports shop, ranging from a kid’s first sporting gear or a pro looking to upgrade to the next big thing. Lee said Ellen can work with both customers with ease and make sure they leave happy and with the right equipment.
Having started the job during the pandemic, Ellen said it gave her the opportunity to get to learn her job in a different way and ask plenty of questions. Sometimes too many questions she admits.
Ellen said she was raised to give 110 percent in everything she does, and to try and learn something new every day.
