What could make a night out for dinner even better?
If your food was brought to your table by a youth hockey player.
The Northumberland Nighthawks U11 AA team will be holding a “Server Night” to help raise funds for the team, where players will be serving food to customers at East Side Marios in Cobourg.
It’ll take place on the night of November 7 from 5pm to 8pm.
Kelly Silk, team manager for the Nighthawks explained a bit about the event.

She said it’s a great chance to meet some of the minor hockey players in the community.
On the night of the fundraiser, 10 percent of all food and non-alcoholic drink orders go to support the team.
