After a hiatus, the Apple Route Studio Tour is returning on September 24th and September 25th and it is the biggest tour to date.
In the past this tour was called the Cramahe Studio Tour but was renamed the Apple Route Studio Art Tour in 2017 so that they could expand the borders past Cramahe Township to showcase art and artists throughout East Northumberland.
This year there are 27 artists in 22 locations and their studios will be open to the public on Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.
“We have artists from Lakeport to Hastings in north, west to Wicklow and into the east in Brighton,” said Helen Van Poorten – Apple Route Studio Tour member. “East Northumberland was very under-represented before and this tour allows us to showcase the talent we have is this area.”

“We have a wide variety of artists who are so excited to show their work in their spaces again,” added Van Poorten. “We even have a stop at Old Mill Alpaca too, to showcase their store and the fiber products that they carry and people can also see the alpacas too.”
