As a part of their back to school traffic enforcement, Cobourg Police are handing out positive tickets for anyone caught following the rules.
Tickets will be given to students who are found to be making safe choices around road safety, pedestrian safety, helping others, or being kind.
The initiative is part of there Selective Traffic Enforcement Project which targets a different area of patrol each month.
Students who are seen being a positive influence will receive a Safe Community Partner Certificate and a coupon for an ice cream cone from MacDonald’s.
