Northumberland Food For Thought has received $10,000 from Cameco
Its core business may be helping to fuel Canada’s nuclear industry, but Cameco is also helping to power student learning in Northumberland.
Beth Kolisnyk, the community development coordinator with NFFT said that we’re are very fortunate to have great corporate citizens like Cameco that give back to their community, and in this case, ensure local students are well-nourished and able to learn to their full potential in school.
NFFT is the non-profit partnership that supports Student Nutrition Programs at schools across the region.
These programs are free and voluntary, providing food to thousands of students in the area every day.
