Cobourg police say they have laid charges after an investigation into the alleged assault of a child and an adult on June 21st.
Police have arrested a 34-year-old man from Cobourg as a result of their investigation.
The accused was charged with two counts of assault and the names of the accused are being withheld to protect their Identity.
Police reported that the accused was released from police custody with a future court date. None of these charges have been proven in court and no other details were provided by police.
