Skip the dishes, skip the cooking and support a great cause.
You’ve been cooking a lot this pandemic so it’s time to take a break and while you do you will be supporting Canada Guide Dogs.
The Lions Club of Cobourg is offering a take-away ham dinner with all the fixings this Sunday (Mar 28).
The cost is $15 per person, with an option of delivery for $5 per household (in Cobourg only).
That was Vice President of the Cobourg Lions Club, Vicky Davis, who says you can Preorder and Prepay by either Etransfer or Credit Card by calling Vicky Davis at 905-373-5942.
Davis tells us more about the Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs.
You pickup your dinner between 4:30 am until 6 pm at the Lions Community Centre and Davis says you should also know that volunteers will be taking all the precautions necessary when handling your meals.
Since 1950, The Lions Club of Cobourg community projects have included donations to The Northumberland Hills Hospital chemotherapy unit, local Sports associations, bursary and scholarships to area schools, individuals and families in need of assistance, CNIB, Baltimore Arena, Lions Pavilion in Victoria Park, an organizing sponsor of the Cobourg Santa Claus parade and 1 of the organizers of the Waterfront Festival, plus many more projects.
