OPP responded to a theft of a stolen truck and theft from vehicle.
On Saturday (Feb 20) just before noon, the Central Hastings OPP responded to a complaint of a theft from a motor vehicle in the Municipality of Stirling-Rawdon.
On the same day around 6 am, the Quinte West OPP responded to a theft of a motor vehicle in close proximity.
As a result of the investigation, 40-year-old Steven Fraser of Belleville was charged with 2 counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle, 2 counts of Theft Under $5000 from a motor vehicle and 3 counts of Trespassing at Night.
He was released on an Undertaking with a first appearance scheduled on March 25th in Belleville court.
