Pickleball will be in the spotlight in Cobourg in the spring!
The 2020 Pickleball Ontario Provincial Championship will run from May 8 to the 10 at the Cobourg Community Centre.
There’ll be around 250 participants on the Bowl Arena flood, which for the weekend, will be transformed into six pickleball courts.
The president of the Pickleball Association of Ontario says Cobourg has a strong pickleball community, and he thinks the 2020 event has the potential to be the best provincials yet.
There are outdoor pickleball courts at Coverdale Park and Sinclair Park and weekly open courts at the CCC.
