Four people have been arrested after the OPP after executed a drug warrant.
On Tuesday (Oct 15), Peterborough and Northumberland OPP Community Street Crime Units, with help from Durham Regional Police Service, various OPP specialty units and uniform officers executed three Controlled Drug and Substance Act warrants.
The searches took place at a residence in Oshawa, a residence in Colborne and on a vehicle found at the Colborne house.
Investigators arrested four people and seized quantities of suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, magic mushrooms, cash and various other drug trafficking related items.
35-year-old Randy Webster, 47-year-old Dawn Marie Curran and 41-year-old Robert Donald Bremner of Cramahe Township have been charged with possession of a cocaine and possession of a schedule III substance
Curran was additionally charged with breaching a court order.
23-year-old Nathan Kumar Persaud of Oshawa has been charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a schedule III substance, possession of a schedule I substance for purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking of an opioid other than heroin and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000.
All four accused have been released and have an October 30 court date in Cobourg.
