Northumberland Hills Studio Tour goes this weekend

The Northumberland Hills Studio Tour is this weekend (Sept 7 & 8).

In it’s 24th year, you can visit an outstanding 35 studios and 43 artists.

This self-guided tour is designed to showcase, promote and support innovative and creative artists in our community by opening up their homes, studios and galleries.

Petra Dettmann is one of the artists featured and a chair of the tour.

She tells us what you can expect.

Next year will be the 25th year for the tour, so they have some big plans.

Dettmann says it comes down to community.

She admits it took her a while to figure out what her form of art would be.

In addition to viewing the amazing art showcase, it also provides an opportunity to travel and explore the hills, valleys and towns of our community.
