Canada’s strongest man lives right here in Cobourg!
56-year-old Cobourg native and Pastor at Cobourg’s Lutheran Church, Kevin Fast, holds an impressive 31 Guinness World Records, including heaviest aircraft pulled and most people supported on the shoulders.
He tells us how this world record adventure began.
On September 3, the NEW 2020 edition Guinness World Records book will be released and you’ll once again find Fast in the book.
Fast tells us what records will be showcased in the new book.
Since he’s in his 50s, we had to ask what advice he has for others his age.
He tells us what continues to inspire him to keep doing these world records.
Fast adds that he and his wife moved to Cobourg in 1993, after being called to become the pastor at Cobourg’s Lutheran Church.
He was born in St. Catherines, but was raised in Brantford before, “making it to this beautiful place” and putting down roots.
He says his two boys are following in his footsteps.
Fast says his gift allows him to work with local charities and give back at the same time.
On Tuesday, September 10, Fast and some of the other exceptional Canadian talent featured in the new book will be coming to Toronto, performing for a live audience.
