Cobourg Police have laid charges after complaints about trash being dumped on someone’s yard.
Police say that on August 7, officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Munson Crescent after receiving seven complaints from a resident saying they repeatedly had trash dumped in their yard.
Cobourg Police say that at around 10:35 p.m., they witnessed a vehicle stop and the driver throw garbage out his window onto the driveway.
Police arrested a 58-year-old man and charged him with eight counts of mischief.
He was later released with a September court date.
